Electric Nail File Troubleshooting
If your electric nail file displays E3 or E4, it is because the file has been used incorrectly. The file will stop functioning because the motor in the handpiece has short-circuited.
The error displayed on your screen is an emergency stop. You need to restart your electric nail file by pressing the power button. If it does not start, it is because the product has been misused and the main motor has short-circuited.
If E3 or E4 is displayed multiple times, your electric nail file will eventually stop working. Please note that it is important to take an E3 or E4 error seriously, as our warranty does not cover these issues if the file has not been used according to the instructions.
If the electric nail file displays an E3 error, it is because it has been turned up too quickly in speed. It may also be due to unplugging the power while the electric nail file was on. It is important that the bit is guided in the correct direction during use; otherwise, the motor in the handpiece will short-circuit.
If it displays an E4 error, it is because too much pressure is being applied to the nail plate during use for more than 10 seconds. The electric nail file will then go into standby mode, and E4 will appear as protection for the motor.
We can only guarantee that our electric nail file can use our own bits. This is also stated on the website under the electric nail file. Although the bits may appear to be the same size and shape, they may not fit our machine. Please note that using incompatible bits can eventually damage the motor in the handpiece.
Both errors, E3 and E4, can also occur if the motor in the electric nail file has received a shock, such as being dropped. This will trigger an error in the motor.
Remember, it is an electronic device, and you must handle the product with care.
