Description

Nailster’s Polygel Starter Kit Basic includes everything you need to get started with nail extensions and reinforcements at home. In this package, you receive the essential base products and tools for Polygel application, our Polygel 216 (Clear), and Dual Forms for applying Polygel extensions.

Polygel gives your nails beautiful, strong extensions that last up to 4 weeks. Polygel is a UV-cured product created from a blend of acrylic and gel. Its consistency resembles toothpaste when squeezed out of the tube but hardens when cured under our UV/LED Lamp. Our new Polygel formula is designed to last longer than ever before and to be firmer to work with.

Note: This Starter Kit is an add-on kit for those who already own our UV/LED Lamp, as the products require curing with our lamp.

It is essential when embarking on your nail journey, to have the right information, so you can safely create beautiful and long-lasting nails at home. That’s why all our Starter Kits come with our Nailster Handbook, so you can begin your nail journey with the right information.

Durability depends on preparation and application. You can find guides for preparation (prep) and application of Polygel in our Learning Universe.

You’ll be guided every step of the way and receive the best instructions from start to finish, so you get the absolute best result with your new Polygel Starter Kit.

Top Coat No-Wipe: Cellulose acetate butyrate, Acrylates copolymer, Acryloyl morpholine, Pentaerythritol, Mercaptopropanoicacid, Dimethicone, BHT

Gel Base Coat: Acrylates copolymer, acryloyl morpholine, ethyl trimethylbenzoyl phenylphosphinate, dimethicone, tris-BHT mesitylene.

Our products contain acrylates, which can cause allergic reactions upon contact with the skin. Should you get the product on your skin, you should immediately remove it with a cleanser to minimize the risk of allergy.

How do I get started with Nailster?

If you've never worked with gel polish before, or you're perhaps just unsure how to approach our Nailster gel polish, it's a good idea to read through our application guide. It guides you step by step through the individual processes so that you achieve a beautiful and durable result.

Can I use Nailster gel polish even if I bite my nails?

Yes! Gel polish is a good tool to make your natural nails extra strong, resistant and, not least, long. It also helps to give your nails the peace they need to grow, and reminds you not to bite when your fingers find their way to your mouth. It requires patience, but with continuous use of gel polish, your nails will slowly come back.

Should I take a break from Nailster to let my nails breathe?

No, you do not have to. Your nails consist of dead stratum corneum and do not breathe, so there is no need to take breaks between removing and applying Nailster gel polish.

Why should I file the surface of my natural nail before applying gel polish?

That's because we all have an oily layer on top of our nails, and gel polish doesn't stick to an oily layer. You don't really have to file the nails, but just gently with a buffer to remove the top fat layer, so the gel polish adheres much better.
