3D Flower with Polygel

  1. Preparation

  Start by pouring Cleanser into a Nail Art Crystal Glass, find your flat brush with spatula, a Nail Art Palette, and the desired Polygel color. Then press a small amount of Polygel onto your spatula and place the product on your Nail Art Palette. The amount you take out of the tube will roughly determine the size of your 3D flower petals – the more Polygel you squeeze out, the larger your flower will be. Please note that our Polygel formula can be a bit firm to get out of the tube due to its thick consistency.

  Repeat this five times or more – depending on how many petals you want your flower to have.

  2. Apply your Polygel to your nail

  Once you have the desired number of petals, place the small Polygel beads on the chosen nail in a circle, leaving a little space between each one. The placement doesn’t need to be perfect – the most important thing is to avoid getting the product on the skin. It can be a good idea to dip your spatula in Cleanser and dab it on a Lint-Free Pad before lifting your Polygel from the Nail Art Palette. This makes it easier for the Polygel to release from the spatula and stay on the nail.

  Once all the beads are placed, dip the brush side of your tool into Cleanser and dab off the excess liquid on a Lint-Free Pad. You can then start shaping the flower petals. It is important to pat the product into place rather than pulling it – otherwise your Polygel may be pressed flat.

  If you notice your Polygel sticking to the brush hairs, simply dip it back into Cleanser and continue working until you have shaped five small rounded petals on the nail.

  3. Shape your flower petals

  When you have the five small round beads on the nail, take your Dotting Tool and dip it into Cleanser. Place it in the center of one of the petals and pull it toward the middle to create a small indentation in the petal. Repeat this for all five petals. Along the way, you can wipe off any excess product on a Lint-Free Pad and dip your Dotting Tool back into Cleanser as needed.

  Once you have made an indentation in all five petals, you will be left with five half-arches that together form the outline of a flower. You can always adjust the shape with your brush if desired.

  When you are satisfied with the result, cure the flower for 90–120 seconds in our UV/LED lamp.

  4. Apply your Gel Polish

  Once your flower has cured, you can apply Gel Polish on top to give the flower the desired color. For this, it is a good idea to place a small amount of Gel Polish on your Nail Art Palette. Use a liner brush to apply the color precisely to the parts of the flower you want to be colored. When you are satisfied with the result, cure the Gel Polish for 60–90 seconds in our UV/LED lamp.

  5. Apply your Top Coat

  Once you have cured your Gel Polish, you are ready to apply your rhinestones. To apply our rhinestones, start by applying a thin layer of Top Coat on the nail where you want to place the rhinestone. Do not cure this layer yet.

  6. Apply Rhinestone

  While your Top Coat is still wet, place the rhinestone on top of the Top Coat you just applied. You can adjust the rhinestone slightly to position it as you like.

  Once the rhinestone is placed the way you want, cure your nails for 60–90 seconds in our UV/LED lamp.

  7. Apply your Top Coat

  Once you have cured your nails, the final step is to apply Top Coat. This is done in the same way as your Base Coat and Gel Polish. However, our Top Coat does not leave a sticky layer afterwards, so once you have applied your Top Coat, you can apply a little cuticle oil around the edges – and your nails are finished.
