Description

Base Coat is a clear gel used underneath other gel products. The Base Coat acts as the adhesive layer between your natural nail and the gel product you apply on top, helping your gel products last longer. Our Base Coat is developed with a formula that both protects and strengthens the natural nail, preventing discoloration from pigments and reducing the risk of breakage.

The self-leveling effect of the Base Coat gives the nail a smooth and even surface, allowing the color applied on top to appear uniform and consistent.

Remember: Gel products, including Gel Base Coat, must be cured under our UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds.

The Base Coat is applied after you’ve prepped your nail and leaves a sticky layer, which helps the gel products applied on top adhere better to the nail. For the best results with our Gel Base Coat, we recommend checking out our guides on Applying Gel Polish in our Learning Universe.

Ingredients

Our products do not contain TPO, Di-HEMA, or HEMA.

Acrylates copolymer, acryloyl morpholine, ethyl trimethylbenzoyl phenylphosphinate, dimethicone, tris-BHT mesitylene.

Our products contain acrylates, which can cause allergic reactions upon contact with the skin. Should you get the product on your skin, you should immediately remove it with a cleanser to minimize the risk of allergy.

How do I get started with Nailster?

If you've never worked with gel polish before, or you're perhaps just unsure how to approach our Nailster gel polish, it's a good idea to read through our application guide. It guides you step by step through the individual processes so that you achieve a beautiful and durable result.

How do I remove my Nailster gel polish?

You wrap your nails in cotton wool (or cotton pads) soaked with nail polish remover and then apply our nail clip, which seals the nails and ensures optimal conditions for the nail polish remover. After 10 minutes, you can check one nail and see how dissolved the varnish is. If it is still stuck in certain places, leave the gaskets on for an additional 5 minutes.

Can I use Nailster gel polish even if I bite my nails?

Yes! Gel polish is a good tool to make your natural nails extra strong, resistant and, not least, long. It also helps to give your nails the peace they need to grow, and reminds you not to bite when your fingers find their way to your mouth. It requires patience, but with continuous use of gel polish, your nails will slowly come back.

Why should I file the surface of my natural nail before applying gel polish?

That's because we all have an oily layer on top of our nails, and gel polish doesn't stick to an oily layer. You don't really have to file the nails, but just gently with a buffer to remove the top fat layer, so the gel polish adheres much better.
